In the Republic of Serbia, there are no registered cases of infection with Coronavirus  COVID-19. 

Until 02.03.2020, the National reference laboratory of Torlak Institute tested 45 people who fulfilled the criteria for testing (staying in the area of intensive transmission of virus and presence of symptoms of infection of the respiratory tract). Samples of all people suspected of having Coronavirus COVID-19 were negative.

On the 2nd of March 2020 until 08:00 nine more persons were tested and their samples were negative.
